Program Description
This program engages a cohort of 40 young leaders annually identified from civic, entrepreneurial, administrative, political, and creative sectors. The cohort is then engaged in a 10-month pedagogical program to build their capacity and leadership skills.
Each Academic calendar starts and ends with the ‘Kisumu Peace and Leadership Conference’ held every 2nd of October each year to coincide with the celebrations mark the International Day of Non-Violence. As part of the activities of the date, outstanding leaders among the cohort participants are recognized and appreciated with awards.
We have established a strong movement of grassroots leaders who adopt nonviolent means while addressing challenges around them.
